Trilian Krug - Percussion
Trilian Krug is 16 years old from Chelsea, MI and is currently a junior at Chelsea High School. She began playing percussion in 5th grade, jazz band in 6th grade, and marching band in 7th grade and hasn’t stopped being a part of all of them. She has also participated in CHS’s a cappella group since the 9th grade. Overall, she loves music because it is a way to express herself and connect with others.
After starting private drum lessons with Jim Lancioni, Trilian became part of her first rock band in 6th grade and is now part of three unique bands. She loves to drum and plays all percussion instruments as well as sings, plays piano, guitar, and bass guitar.
Trilian writes and composes her own original songs and has plans to record and release her own album. She also teaches private percussion lessons to younger students in the 5th-7th grades.
Trilian attended All-State Band in 7th and 8th grade, EMU Honor Band in 9th-11th grades and was recognized as primary chair in 11th grade, and has been honored to play center snare in the CHS Marching Band in both 10th and 11th grade.
In her free time she enjoys graphic design and producing merchandise for personal use and her bands. She also likes to sew and design original pieces of clothing and accessories, longboard, and explore nature and new cities.
In her future, Trilian is excited to continue her original work and seek out colleges with programs encompassing sound design, audio and music production, and communication degrees.
