Ann Brill - Writer

Ann recently retired from 33 years as a public educator.  She spent 30 of those years teaching third and fourth grade students in the Dexter Community Schools.   As a teacher, Ann had a passion for developing theme-based units integrating reading and writing.  She would often create stories that would be used as lesson material in her units.  Ann continues to be an avid collector of children’s books and is especially enamored with fairy tales and folktales.

Ann and her husband, Brian have lived in Chelsea, Michigan, since 1987.  They have appreciated this vibrant community and its support of the arts.
