Megan Emberton - Piano

Megan Emberton began learning piano when she was three, and twenty-two years later she continues to play, improvise, accompany, and perform.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2012, and her teachers have included Christopher Harding, Alvin Chow, Waleed Howrani and Renée Robbins.

Megan keeps busy as a freelance accompanist in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, accompanying dancers at the University of Michigan and instrumentalists at Eastern Michigan University.  She also maintains a full studio of piano students at the Suzuki Royal Oak Institute of Music, teaching students ages 3 to 13.  She has taught at Green Mountain Suzuki Institute in Vermont, and Summer 2016 will be teaching at the Blue Lake Suzuki Family Camp in Michigan.
